Live Oak Friends Meeting House
Live Oak Friends Meeting House is a meeting house located in the Heights area of Houston, Texas, United States. It features a permanent installation by the Quaker artist James Turrell known as the skyspace.
Live Oak Friends Meeting (commonly abbreviated LOFM) is a monthly meeting (congregation) of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Houston, Texas. The Meeting was founded in 1954.
The Meeting is a member of Bayou Quarterly Meeting and South Central Yearly Meeting. It is a Liberal Quaker meeting and is associated with Friends General Conference. The meeting worships in the traditional unprogrammed style.
